Bio

Stephen Ekes, MPT, is the Founder and CEO of the practice, serving patients in both the ALF and office settings. He earned his education at Florida Southern College and the University of St. Augustine and brings extensive experience in outpatient sports medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, spine care, and balance therapy. Stephen finds the greatest reward in helping patients return to the activities they love, building meaningful relationships, and being part of their journey through life. He was drawn to the field by a deep compassion for humankind. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys outdoor activities, dirt biking, motorcycling, gardening, working out at the gym, and spending time with his fiancée. A proud parent, he has a daughter who plays professional volleyball, another daughter pursuing a career in physician assistant studies, and a son who is graduating high school and preparing for college. Stephen hopes that every patient feels a strong sense of family and community when working with him.

Special Credentials:

I have obtained a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of St Augustine. I have also completed course work in Manual Therapy and I am currently working on my “Doctorate Degree”. I have an outstanding reputation in the community as a leader in physical therapy and rehabilitation, with extensive experience in Neurological, Orthopedic, and Sports-Related Injuries.

Hobbies:

In my spare time, I enjoy going camping, riding dirt bikes, watching my children play sports, and hanging out with Ellie – my dog/our clinic’s therapy dog!

I like to give all I can to each and every patient. Treat them like family and watch them progress so they can achieve their goals!
